My love affair with travel began with my honeymoon at 23—a simple all-inclusive resort in Saint Lucia that I planned myself. Surprisingly, I found the research and planning process just as exhilarating as the actual getaway.
Over the next 28 years, through 17 relocations across five continents, I evolved from an enthusiastic novice to a seasoned travel expert. Each new destination presented an exciting challenge to master the nuances of exploring that region—expetise I now share with clients like you.
As my only son approached high school graduation when I was 49, this self-proclaimed helicopter mom faced an empty nest and sought a meaningful new chapter. That's when J & Travel Adventures was born. With my husband's encouragement, I transformed my passion for travel planning and desire to create exceptional experiences into a thriving business dedicated to helping others discover the world.

Life took an unexpected turn when my husband suddenly passed away on September 19th, 2022. In the midst of grief, I had a solo trip scheduled six weeks later. Taking that journey—and many since—proved to be profoundly healing, teaching me firsthand about travel's remarkable power to restore and transform.
Today, as a Gen X solo female traveler (who proudly embraces being "perpetually fluffy"), I visit 10-15 countries annually while showing clients that age and life circumstances need not limit your adventures. Having explored 74 countries over nearly three decades, I wake up each day grateful to share my expertise with fellow empty nesters ready to transform long-held travel dreams into reality.
